Question : I have been very sick lately. I am 49 years old female. Symptoms are stress, hot flashes, abdominal pain and cramping, vomiting, trouble sleeping, etc. I would say it is menopause, but now my 19 year old son is experiencing the same symptoms.
Could it be some sort of mildew or mold in our house? Food poisoning? Mine has been going on for months, son just started symptoms recently.

                                    Brief Answer:
Not related to mould or food poisoning.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The symptoms that you have are likely to be related to menopause. But similar symptoms in your son can be due to stress anxiety or irregular feeding habits. Gastritis also needs to be ruled out after an examination. Symptomatic treatment is likely to help him.
