Question : The artery in my left hand (back of hand) located just below the space between my thumb and index finger intermittently pulsates to the point of making my finger twitch. I am 54 years old, average health, 159 lbs and 5' tall. Currently on BP meds and BP is now fine.

Pulsations in that area can be normal. It could be a muscle/tendon.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It is perfectly normal for the artery to pulsate or twitch or be visible at times.
It should however not cause any pain.
If there is pain then you should have it looked at by a Doctor or a Surgeon.
Abnormalities of the dorsal branch of the Radial artery(as per the location you mention) are extremely rare.
But if it is bothering you it would be better to have it looked at.
It might be a muscle or a tendon that is causing the problem.
