Question : I seem to have subtle cramping in my rectum. BMs are solid, but there is no pressure, its as if it just falls out. I have a very uneasy sensation.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I read carefully your concerns and I can say as follows:
1. You are reporting to have subtle cramping in the rectum and no pressure.
These symptoms may be related with :
- acute infection like proctitis
- insuficience of anal sphincter or tumoral issues of the rectum
- IBS.
2. If your symptoms persist more than 3 month s than I would recommend to do as follows:
- recto-sigmoidoscopy
- anal manometry to measure the anal ring pressure
3. Meantime I suggest to :
- perform Kegel exercise to strength anal muscles
- avoid unnecessary stress
- try to sit on bathroom for at least 20 minutes
- avoid coffee , alcohol and spicy foods
If you have other concerns I would be glad to assist you further.
