What Causes Sudden Allergic Reaction To Cipro?
Question: I have had uti's most of my life...drink water,cranberry juice..practice good hygiene...all of a sudden I cannot take Cipro...horrible reaction..slow pulse,weakness..severe burning skin,hallucinations.DR. tried Bactrim...worse! I have major dental work to finish which requires antibiotics and now I am quite wary...what would cause a sudden new allergy/reaction?

Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that allergies can occur any time in life , it has got no relation with your history of UTI , it is just an immune reaction of body that can occur anytime and at any age but it is not necessary that you will react to every antibiotic . But a caution and watch for any allergic sign rash , itching etc. is always recommended .
