Brief Answer:
please describe in more detail

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

since this is not a usual symptom, I'd like to read a more detailed description. Is it painful? Does it make swallowing difficult? How? Are there any associated symtpoms? Any enlarged cervical lymph nodes or tenderness? Fever? Upper respiratory tract symptoms (runny nose, congestion, cough)? Anything else?

If the answer to the aforementioned questions is "no" and the doctor found nothing during clinical examination then there is nothing wrong with him and you shouldn't worry.

I'll be glad to continue this discussion, if you'd like to provide the necessary information.

Kind Regards!
