What Causes Sudden Dizziness, Muscle Weakness And Nausea?

default
Posted on Tue, 15 Nov 2016
Question: Symptoms:

Bodily symptoms

* weakness i the form of low endurance in muscles. Holding phone to talk for five min is enough to get ake in muscle and shaking. The energy drains extremely quickly from muscles.

If getting up from sitting down, get dizzy as old people does. If do this repeatly, I get physical bad and must lay down. Shaky and dizzy.

Low bloodpressure.

Sometimes feeling like just fainting, but doesnt. Can be just out for a walk and talking, and then that feeling comes.

* Preiodically cold hands and feet.

* Coldsweat both under arms, in hands and under feet even in cold room sitting still.

Sometimes heavy breath and heavy feeling over chest.

* Palpitations from very small physical strain , extra heartbeats (ectopic) when adrenalin, often just elevated heartrate for no reason, mostly during early hours of day.

* Sometimes when I get waked up, i have an internal «vibration» (invisible) for some seconds, its like an rythmic electric shock, not related to puls.

* Feeling like fainting, bloodpressure drop and nausea after physical things like running etc adrenalin. Also my daughter has this, and at test at hospital she fainted three times after/during walking on a treadmill.

* Asthmatic breath after physical stuff like walking uphill or other.

* Chestpain when walking. Might be muscular.

* Lactic muscles REALLY quickly.

*Hypersensitive back. When touched lightly over certain areas, its not painful but really sensitive.

During early hours after getting out of bed, I can NOT do anything that gets heartrate up. EX: If I have to help someone in a panic speed, my heartrate goes very high, my legs og jello, and I will almost faint. This gets better during day.

Example from two last days:

Palpitations lasting long time, its maybe like 70-80 resting pulse, but hard beats. I wake up like this. And if I just rise from sitting, it goes up to over 100.

I'm also losing a bit of weight. Am 187 centimeters and only 70 kilo...

Did a ECG resting yesterday at doctorsoffice. Got results now.
It says ECG shows takykardi, elevated pulse. No sign of heartfailure or heartattack. Normal QT time entertpred to heartfrequense.
Can this be realted to some endocrine things?

Brief Answer:
In my opinion your symptoms are not due to endocrine diseases.

Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxxx,
I have gone through your query in details.
I can understand your concern.

You have a lot of symptoms that do not match with an endocrine disease.

However, I'd suggest to do the thyroid tests TSH ,free T3 and free T4 and cortisol in the morning and evening. The results of this tests may give a lot of information if some of your symptoms can be attributed to any endocrinological (thyroid or adrenal) diseases.

For the muscular problems, I'd suggest to consult a rheumatologist for necessary investigations to look if there is any systemic disease that can cause all your symptoms.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.

I know you are not a cardiologist, but you do not think this is due to heart-related problems either?
Thank you very much for quick answer.

Brief Answer:
No, I don't think this all your symptoms are the results of heart problems.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, Welcome back,

Your ECG shows no sign of heart failure or heart attack. Only high rate which can be attributed to stress.

So in my opinion your symptoms are not due to heart-related problems.
Anyway, it is always important to take a second opinion from a cardiologist.

Hope my information is helpful.
Best Regards.
