Question: I was just lying on the couch watching TV and my vision suddenly became double. It lasted for only a few seconds and has resolved. I am a 68 yr led female in good health. Take bp meds, onemeprozole and cholesterol drugs,
. All my of which are well controlled. Should I seek medical attention. I am feeling a little nauseous but I have not eaten since breakfast.

Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
Hello & thank you for submitting your question.

At this point, since you have only experienced the double vision one time & since now has resolved, it would be reasonable to observe if this happens again. The nausea you describe may also be observed to see if it resolves. It is difficult to definitively determine if these symptoms are related or what is their cause at this point. However, if you start to develop additional symptoms, if the vision disturbance occurs again, or if the nausea persists for more than one day it would be a good idea to check in with your physician for a physical examination & assessment.
