Brief Answer:
I need further details.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
Acute rise in body temperature signifies fever. But just a feeling of high body temperature can be due to various reasons. I will be in a position to help you better after knowing the following details:
1. Since when is she having this rise in body temperature?
2. Have you checked the temperature in thermometer? If yes mention the readings and if no, then measure and let me know.
3. Any thyroid issues diagnosed? Has she been tested for that?
4. What does the other reports say? Prefetably attach the reports.
5. Any anxiety? Disturbed sleep?

Dear Dr

The increase in temperature has been over 4-5 months. It is usually followed by a nosebleed. She has not been tested for thyroid. As we've had a child recently she has had a disturbed sleep pattern and lately suffered from massive anxiety. She also complains of body aches and is fatigued

Brief Answer:
Hypertension.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Her history goes in favor of Hypertension only. That is the high blood pressure. The most common cause of nose bleed is high blood pressure.
She would require to take treatment for that. She should be started on anti hypertensive medications based on the BP readings.
Also once her BP settles her anxiety will also get under control.
I would also recommend a few tests for her to rule out any evidence of injury to the organs caused by high BP and to rule out issues like thyroid disorders that can also cause these issues.
Following tests are recommended:
1. Hemogram.
2. Kidney function tests.
3. Thyroid profile.
4. ECG.
5. Urine examination
6. Fasting blood sugar.
Also get her BP checked and discuss with your doctor to start her on the anti hypertensive medications.
Get her tested and write back to me with reports.
In the mean time make a chart with date and time of her BP readings and temperature.
I hope it helps.
If you have any further query, please ask me.
