What Causes Sudden Goose Bumps On Left Side Of The Head?

Question: Hi,
Iam 36 year old female .Iam getting goosebump and shivering kind of feeling in my left side of head. This suddenly comes and goes. Earlier it was just once in a while but since yesterday this si coming regulraly and making me dead scared. Can I please know that what can be the reason.

Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Is the goose bump associated with any headache, vomiting, nausea, sensitivity to light or sound?
Any anxiety?
Any visual blurring, visible swelling?
Any other medical illness or drugs being taken?
The symptoms may be due to anxiety of migraine associated.
You can take amitryptiline with clonazepam for relief.
Take adequate rest.
Provide more details regarding problem.

Thanks Doctor,
I used to get panic attacks and on petril and Duloit 30. Recetly my thyroid level also went up TSH 6.5. Vomiting I dont feel but yes heaviness in head after this happens. I feel left limb weakness after that. why is it happening 10-20 times in a day?

I have taken Petril 0.5 gm for temporary relief. Is it serious?

Hello,
If you are getting unilateral symptoms then you should get a neuroimaging preferably Mri brain.
Anxiety and panic attacks may also lead to such symptoms but to be sure get a neuroimaging.
