Question: I was working on a vision board.I went outside to have a cigarette with a friend in Florida, hot. I had been working with degreaser earlier in the day. I am 44. I have been having a heavy period. My friend was telling distressing news. I suddenly felt uneasy , slight headache, nausea set in and I began to sweat profusely. My friend said I looked pale. My lips got dry and I experienced a tingly numbness especially in my hands and lips.I felt almost drunk. I experienced light headed weakness and had to laid on the cold tile and continued to sweat. A cold cloth and juice were given to me ,but I still felt weak ,numb , and light headed. I made it home ,but my balance was off and now I am tired with dry eyes. My taste is also off.

Brief Answer:
Hypoglycemia, seizure

Detailed Answer:
Hi, Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I went through your query and understood your concerns.

If I were your treating Doctor for this sudden uneasiness and head ache, I would come up with three possibilities, these include:

1. Hypoglycemic episode

This explains the headache, sweating . I would like you to get a fasting blood sugar and cortisol levels done to rule out decreased secretion of it,

2. Seizure

Seizures can present the same way but you dont have a "typical" history of a seizure as there is no loss of consciousness or spontaneous micturation, defecation etc. However such seizures do exist and has to be evaluated for. What goes in favor is the acute onset of the symptoms

3. Anemia
With history of heavy bleeding during periods, more chances for low Hb levle. Better to get Hemoglobin test done.

I strongly suggest you approach a physician to get these test done.

1. Fasting blood sugar
2. Haemoglobin level
3. EEG
4. Serum cortisol
5. MRI brain

I hope I answered your query. If you have any further ones please get back to me

regards
