Question: sometimes one or both legs jerk when I am trying to go to sleep. What can I do to stop it?
Since I am currently having this problem, I was hoping I could get some sort of answer tonight. I generally cannot go to sleep until I am so tired I pass out. If I get up it doesn't affect me but the moment I try to go to sleep, it starts i[ again. Help!!

Brief Answer:
Get a prescription by a doctor as advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
This is called as hypnogogic myoclonus which is normal.
You can take Clonazepam, if the symptoms are disturbing.

Hope you found the answer helpful.
