Brief Answer:
When was your last check up?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this loss of energy that has lasted close to a year. I understand how difficult it is to watch your energy level gradually get low and all the challenges this comes along with. I hope we get to identify the cause and propose real solutions to help you get over this.

There are several different possible reasons for low energy levels. It could be low thyroid, anemia, depression, heart problems, etc as there are many possible causes of this. You need a detailed medical examination and laboratory investigations to pinpoint what the cause is and address adequately. For this, your primary care doctor would be a good person to start with. He would carry on a comprehensive and exhaustive clinical evaluation and follow up with laboratory testing. The preliminary findings would either give an answer to this or lead to more possibilities to be investigated. Management would greatly depend on what the final diagnosis is.

In all, there are several different possible reasons. A good clinical examination and laboratory testing is required for this. Your primary care doctor is a good starting point.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and please feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
