Question : I've had several times lately, where I am speaking to someone and the words that come out of my mouth are not what I am thinking. The words are not real words at all. It is not accompanied by any weakness, pain or face falling and it's not memory loss. My thoughts are clear, it's not translating into my words. Since then, I keep having times when I have a "lag" between what I am thinking and what I can speak. I am 45 and female. Hopeful that you may have seen something like this before.

What you are describing potentially has a neurological cause. You definitely need an MRI to rule out organic brain disease. Speculation before reviewing the results of the MRI would be premature. I recommend going through with the MRI and see what the results show.
