Question : I was just sitting on the couch reclined with my feet up on recliner and legs straight. Well i got a cramp in my left foot that caused my toes to curve in to and over wach other. Well i grabbed my foot and massaged it and it got better in a few minutes and i didnt think much about it. Well about 15 minutes later my other foot did the same thing. Lasted about thw same amount of time and felt about the same. When it was just the one i tossed it up to just one of those things but since it was both im now curious concerned and worried about what is going on. Why would this happen in both feet? If its poor circulation what would cause that?

                                    Brief Answer:
dehydration, vitamins
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Most of the times people get muscle cramps due to being somewhat dehydrated or not getting the proper vitamins or minerals in their diet. You need to drink at least 2 liters of water daily and extra if you drink any alcohol or caffeinated beverages. Both alcohol and caffeine cause dehydration. It would also help if you took a multivitamin/multimineral supplement once a day. Regular stretching of your muscles can be helpful as well. Everyone gets cramps once in a while. Don't worry just drink more water and take a vitamin.
Good day to you,
