Question : I am currently suffering from sudden lower abdominal cramps - very painful. My left side just under the rib cage is very very tender and there's a bit of pain when pressed. It all started with a muscle/joint pain on my Rhip then it radiated towards the the center of my abdomen and is now on my left side. The dull ache has been there all day [going on Day 2 now] and the sudden spastic cramping will happen just below my belly button.

It looks like bowel infection.

Hi
As per your description, it looks like Infection of the bowel.
Ultrasound abdomen should be done for any clue.
For pain abdomen, I prescribe Intestinal Antibiotic like Rifaximine 200mg twice daily,antispasmodic tablet containing Dicyclomine and Proton pump inhibitor like Rabeprazole twice daily.
