Question : Why do I have a sudden outburst of moles, almost overnight, beginning under my left breast?

Moles are very unlikely to erupt overnight.
These may be urticarial lesions / allergic rash / infection/ insect bite etc.

Bumps are not itchy or painful....they are the moles that begin as small red dots,
then turn into brown moles, that are like a small bump. Actual, old-fashioned,
ugly moles. I would gladly upload a photo but don't have that capability. I could
send it to a cell phone.

Usually moles dont erupt suddenly. As I said these eruptions may be something else like seborrheic keratoses / warts as per description . These may erupt suddenly and need evaluation.
If you still feel that these are moles only, and you are not able to upload pic, then I will advice you to visit a nearby dermatologist for the complete examination and evaluation. Moles erupt suddenly overnight usually when associated with some malignancy.
I can give you a clue here without visualizing them . Kindly get back to me after discussion with your nearby dermatologist.
