Question : While we were trying to fall asleep, my husband started experiencing SEVERE abdominal pain. He took a couple of GasX, but no relief. He said he has never experienced this in his life. He pooped a little, and had a cold sweat, which he said went away, but it feels like it's across his whole abdomen and even hurts in his back, now, a little.

Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.

First of all, you have mentioned ''even hurts in his back'' indicates that there can be a serious problem like Pancreatitis, gastric ulcer on the back of stomach, cardiac in a few cases or some retro-peritoneal problems.
This along with the severity of pain that he has never experienced in his life, pooped a little and cold sweats all indicate that you should take him to ER ASAP for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations and further management.
Earlier the diagnosis, best is the management.

We are at the ER right now. Could it be kidney stones? His mouth is dusty dry and he feels dehydrated. They are going to XXXXXXX him here pretty soon.
