Question : My wife woke this morning feeling listless, unable to eat, with her lower lip slightly swollen. Five hours later the swelling is more pronounced and her upper lip has become slightly swollen too. Any suggestions?

You should take her to a hospital emergency without any further delay. Chances are that your wife has got an allergic reaction which might need urgent intervention. Please do not delay it. Since I am not suggesting home based interventions, I am not mentioning any.
