Question : My son threw up after taking a nap. He ate a lot of popcorn at the movies and fell asleep on the way home. Is it normal to throw up like that or should I be concerned. He has had a stuffy nose the past couple of days.

I am so sorry to hear about this vomiting your son had. I have reviewed the information fully and with the notion that he ate much popcorn at the movies, vomiting is not abnormal. There is nothing to worry about now and I will recommend nothing more than close observation. Unless something else comes up, there is no need to seek for further medical attention at this time. Vomiting alone is not a big concern especially in kids after eating significant and unusual food portions.
