Question: Every once in awhile , maybe three to five times a year, I experience sudden 'weakness' and heaviness in my legs, it graduates from my ankles and up to my thighs, lasts about 10 to 15 seconds, no pain. Always happens when I am standing and has never occurred when sleeping or sitting. No medications. Female, age 61.

Brief Answer:
Provide more details and previous reports

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
These symptoms seems to be non specific but few possibilities can be there.
First possibility may be some focal seizure causing discharges in brain and leading to weakness/ sensory phenomenon of leg. Is there any history of seizures, loss of consciousness, headache, vomiting, head injury?
Second possibility may be lumbosacral disc related pain and weakness but it usually is associated with low back pain and radiation to lower limbs.
Is there any history of joint pain, swelling, urinary complains?
Is there any previous investigation, consultation or examination done you a doctor?
Please upload previous reports and prescriptions.
