Is there someting more i should ask to take or is the medication making it worse? Other than that i feel not too bad except for the thought that will come up every so often.

Hello, and thanks for your question.

Lamictal doesn't reach therapeutic levels in the blood until roughly 150mg or so. Neither medication is causing suicidal thoughts, don't worry. Give it some time for the medicines to kick in, and you will feel better.

Do you think i need someting else for intrusive thoughts? I went into depression 8 years ago and have gad when i broke up with my girl. I have took up to 200 mg of zoloft and 300 mg of welbutrin for afew years. It seemed to help enough that i stopped it. I was also 50 mg of trazodone for sleep. I stopped taking these about 6 months ago because I was feeling better. I see a therapist. I feel ok except for getting that thought. I read all sorts of books on anxiety and depression and have done meditation, took anxiety programs, etc. I wanted to talk to my psychiatrist about adding zoloft or something else to the lamictal. I dont know if that 8s the right thing or not. Do you have anything i can add that might help?

Detailed Answer:
If Zoloft helped you, you shouldn't have stopped it. I would talk to a psychiatrist about restarting Zoloft to help with intrusive thoughts, and then stay on it.
