Brief Answer:
life is precious, wait and give your self a chance

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. I can understand your concern.

You seem to be very frustrated and depressed. I request you not doing anything which can harm you, Life is precious, let the God decide when it will end. Every problem has solution, just time matters. One needs to pass that tough time. You have to pass this difficult time. I request you to consult psychiatrist locally as soon as possible for treatment in form of medication as well as psychotherapy.

Medicines (particularly Lithium) and ECT (electro convulsive therapy) are proven approaches to treat such suicidal thoughts.

Please narrate briefly what are you missing in your life and what changes in life do you want?

I also suggest discussing your thoughts to any near relative, friend, neighbour or at least your family doctor. Again I want to mention that please do not take any harmful step. You can be normal and useful to society.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.
Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.

Brief Answer:
Medicines will help to deal with reality

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,

I have seen many patients treated successfully who initially believed that they wouldn't be helped with medicines. You can be one of them. Just you should try it with professional help.

Every human being on the earth is sent by God for some motive. You need to find out that motive with professional help and move ahead.

Please do not do any self harm.

Take care dear.

Brief Answer:
it is extended grief

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I am sorry for your husband. I can understand your pain and loneliness.

I know that it is difficult to convince you without being in person. In our professional language your situation is called, 'Extended Grief' and it is just like depression. It can be treated. You just need the right person who can help you to come out of this grief.

Please give yourself a chance for the sake of your children. Wait for 6 months and see how reality can be accepted by you and you can move ahead.

I hope to here you again after few months when you will be fine.

Brief Answer:
Just guess

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I am sorry for wrong guess that you are mother. At age of 52 most of the married females are generally having children (at least as per social culture of mine).

My intention was to stop you doing any self harm by pointing your feelings to your near ones.

In any case if you are alone, then you can do a lot for society which can give you relief, satisfaction and pleasure.

Take care.

I am not ready to give to society I am struggling with grief and I want an end to.my pain.,your norm may be that everyone of 52 has children but please have a thought for those not so lucky.it was not my choice not to have them ,god
made that choice as he made the choice to.take.my husband from me

Brief Answer:
It is good that you accpet that you are struggling with grief

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for reply.

I am again sorry fro being judgmental about your motherhood without confirmation.

In our communication you have at least accepted that you are struggling with grief. This is the first step to deal with grief. When person is aware about one's problem and have insight about root of the problem, we can go for psychotherapy specifically CBT - cognitive behavior therapy.

I really appreciate that you are responding to our discussions. Please consult psychiatrist or at least qualified psychologist soon to get relief.
