Its good news there is no fracture. I suggest proper management of the sprain, as well is measures to reduce swelling are important. A topical anti inflammatory drug for local massage, and an oral anti inflammatory could be very helpful. Raising the leg above general body level with pillows could facilitate drainage and relief oedema.
Your doctor could at some point add venotonic drugs, in case venous insufficiency is suspected.
I think this is really no emergency is you have no pain, no rapid pulse no localize painful swelling. Check for your body temperature too. If all of these parameters are ok, serious conditions like thrombophlebitis are unlikely, and you need not worry that much. Thrombophlebitis is a risk factor for a deadly condition, pulmonary embolism.
