Question : a messed up fingerwhat can cause swelling and pain in a finger without chemicals on it and it wasnt hit

Hi XXXXXXX Welcome to Healthcare Magic.The finger swelling without injury is mostly due to infections.The infection of little fingers and thumb tends to spread rapidly so needs broad spectrum antibiotics to be prescribed as soon as possible.You should get it examined by a local clinician, if any push collection notable then it may need to be drained.I hope the advise would be helpful for you.

its between the knuckles a nd there alot of pain its kind like the inside of it

Pain and swelling between knuckles is most likely due to infection.
Please get a review by a local physician and get treated as soon as possible because delay means increased trouble and difficult healing because infections are easy to treat early in course and difficult when they spread.
