Question : Could I possibly have a blood lot? I fractured my ankle Dec 30. Still have swelling and heat but I'm able to walk on it without boot.
Brief Answer:
it is possible
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
It is possible but also swelling after fractures may persist for up to 2 months.
Also, swlling caused by blood clot is usually present in the whole lower leg at least till knee and usually even above. Also, walking would be painful in calf and you would have tender skin. I suggest to keep leg elevated, apply elastice compresses and if symptoms progress, you should see doctor to rule out venous thrombosis. Wish you good health. Regards
