What Causes Swelling Around Varicella Injection Site?

Question: Had my 2nd varicella shot two days ago, there's a big red mark @ injection site, keeps getting bigger & more painful every day. Is this bad? Picture attached

Thank you for asking
erythema around the injection site o that much extent is not normal. Injection site complications are many and this is one of them. It needs assessment and examination. You may probably need some antibiotics and topical pain killers and anesthetic gels for the pain relief. Get to a dermatologist before it turns into an injection abscess.
