What Causes Swelling In Neck After A Yellow Jacket Sting?

Question: Mu husband was stung by a yellow jacket 2 days ago.He carries an epi pen but has never had to use it, he usually reacts days later.He was stung behind his ear and now the swelling is going down his neck and he can't turn his head. He had been taking allergy medicine.Should we be concerned and what other steps should we be taking?

Well it seems like due to the sting some infection has happened at and around his ear and is spreading . You need to take him to doctor and get him checked because if it is infection he requires an Antibiotic course.
