Question : My penis is swollen and my scrotum is swollen and I have phimosis. My doctor did a pet scan and I am seeing him on friday to see what can be done but I wanted your opinion before I go and see him.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.
These symptoms indicate in first case orchitis or epididmitis which can be bacterial or viral infection. Phimosis can just worsen situation. This will be managed with antibiotics. More benign causes are hydrocele or varicocele and this can be surgically managed. Other rare but more serious causes are tumors which should always be ruled out but in your cases I dont think you should be worried. Wish you good health. Regards
