Brief Answer:
As detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
To recapitulate: Male/55 - 6'3'' - 260 - injured left knee - does not seem to get better - but today feet and ankles are swollen - can feel pulses in left groin area ....
Please give me some details:
When was the left knee injured?
Is there any swelling, difficult in complete movement of the knee joint on left?
Is the swelling on left side or both as you have mentioned "feet and ankles"?
Pulse can be felt on its own or on palpation?

With the history you have provided, I would be bit worried for the vascular lesions and would advise you the following:
- Get a clinical evaluation as soon as possible.
- Ultrasonography and color doppler studies of both the limbs and the abdomen to see any affection of the arteries or veins.
These causes need to be confirmed or ruled out asap.
- MRI of the left knee would simplify the diagnosis and give plan for treatment.

I hope this answer helps you for an early diagnosis and proper treatment.
