.................................................................

I gained 2 pounds this week. It is a lot for me since I usually weigh 96.4
Pounds. This morning 98.4. Can it be from gamapentin, up to 600 mg day.?
If it is, is there something else I can take?

I was over 50 pounds heavier when I was 16. I have kept my weight off for years. And this has been my “happy” weight. This makes me depressed

I don’t have good bowel movements. They look look Rocks.

Last night I felt like my stomach was blown up

I used suppositories but no help. Don’t feel constipated. This morning my stomach doesn’t feel. Bloated

Gaining weight scares me and depressed.

Thank you!

Weight gain occurs with gabapentin

Hello,
Yes, weight gain is a common side effect with gabapentin.

thank you!

My doctor once mentioned if I have weight gain he can give me another medicine.

Do you have a suggestion?

My fingers are getting larger . Probably mentioned this, rings that fit a couple of years ago(one right hand) that I had made larger, now don't fit on either hand.

I was able to change several rings to my left hand and in the past 3 weeks they don't fit.

You are my best doctor! Thank you so much for always getting back to me so fast
Your advice is the best!

With admiration,

Melanie

Just saw your other suggestions

Headed to Florida for weekend. I will see how they do there.

Best,

Melanie

My doctor gave me lyrica.

I read that can make you gain weight.

Anything that won't make me gain weight. Losing wouldn't be awful even though I weigh a little I look normal, thin, but normal.

I looked up the other medicines you suggested. Sounds like they all can cause weight gain? Certainly don't want to lose sex drive either.
Thanks,

Best,

Melanie
