People have tried several things like Multi vitamins especially Vit E, anti oxidant diet, etc however most result are inconclusive 2. Inflammation of the salivary glands depends on the cause of the inflammation, whether it is secondary to infection, stones, etc. Only biopsy can tell us the cause for it. It cant be treated on assumption. Stones are removed under guidance by an ENT specialist 3.
