Brief Answer:
Lip swelling could be due to allergy, mucocele or vitamin deficiency...

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting the query

Unexplained lower lip swelling could be due to allergic reaction. The allergy can be noticed to specific food like peanuts, sun flower seeds, seafood, dust, pollen grains, dander, etc. Other commonest causes are nutritional deficiencies, infection and mucocele.

You can try home remedies such as use of lip moisturizing balm, drinking lots of warm water; avoiding smoking and alcohol if any. Also, you can try taking oral antihistamines to take care of allergic reaction if any. If the swelling does not reduce within a couple of days, consult your doctor for a complete evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query; I will be available for the follow-up queries.
