Question : My left portion of the face has been swelled from last couple of days as there has been one pimple on my forehead due to which nearby areas of that pimple has been swelled out
Brief Answer:
Furuncle
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
Probably you have developed furuncle.
It's a bacterial infection.
Swelling might be associated with this.
Treatment is with oral and topical antibiotics.
A combination of oral cefixime 200 mg twice daily for a week and ointment mupirocine to be applied thrice daily for a week should help you.
If possible upload a photograph of the involved area.
This will help me in giving a closer diagnosis.
Waiting for your response.
Thank you.
