Question : I have a swelling on the right side of my neck . It doesn,t hurt, Had an XRay . was told it was arthritis of the clavicle. This swelling is at the colarbone.

Brief Answer: FNAC and CT Scan to confirm Detailed Answer: Hi. Arthritis of the collarbone is known with advancing age and must have occurred from a mild trauma, that has got unnoticed. If there is no pain, and is not causing any disability, there is nothing wo worry about. I would advise you to undergo a CT scan if possible , just to confirm this diagnosis or to rule out pother possible diagnosis of another disease. FNAC will be difficult in such a hard swelling and has to be tried to rule out another sinister disease.
