Question : I have a beet red swollen breast, left side. Headache, and trouble lifting my left arm...6 years ago I had a couple lymph nodes removed on that side and a lump taken out on left side...then6 months of chemo,3 months of radiation and tamoxiphhen for a few years...is it breast cancer?

I have a beet red left breast...6 years ago I had lump removed and lymph nodes removed from that side- is it cnacer again?

Abscess has to be excluded first.

Hi
As per your description, it could be an Abscess or Cellulitis.Antibiotics and Anti inflammatory tablets will help.
Next possibility is Recurrence of Cancer in the Breast. Mammography will give a clue.
