What Causes Swelling With Bloating Below Both Ribs?
Question: Swollen below both ribs, I can't turn my waist properly as it feels bloated and painful to touch on my left side, it also hurts on my back also on my left.
And on my right hand side, I am getting a sharp when I breathe in, but not every time, it seems to happen several times, the stop. This side does not feel painful to touch.

Ultrasonography abdomen and pelvis will help in diagnosis. Clinical examination is important for appropriate investigation.
Back pain can be due to compression of nerve root in spine.
Due to compression of this nerve root there is pain in your back and leg.
I will advise you to do MRI spine
For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started.
Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.

Thank you the Ultrasonography abdomen that sounds like a very good idea, I've already had an ultrasound and this was very painful and made the pain worse for a few days.
The pain in my back area, seems to be in the same area as the front, it's mirrored, I believe it relates to the same problem, and not my actual spine/back.
