Question : HI, I have swelling in both ankles and suffer from cramping in my calves when I sleep. The swelling almost seems like fluid of some kind because if I cross my ankles while sitting it will leave an impression on both ankles.

That was a side effect of progesterone!

Hi,

These are side effects of progesterone. As this has been discontinued, the fluid retention it caused would progressively regress and all would be fine. I will not recommend any special treatment at this time as this would eventually resolve without the need for any medications.
