Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.

This could be a case of strep throat. If your symptoms do not improve within the next 24 to 48 hours it would be reasonable for you to visit with a local doctor and he may consider offering you antibiotic therapy to help eliminate the infection.

Otherwise I would focus on good hydration. If you have significant pain it would be reasonable to try some ibuprofen as well.

I hope you feel better soon but if not please talk to your doctor soon.

Sincerely,

Dr. Galamaga
