Brief Answer: Suggests cardiac problem Detailed Answer: Hello Thank you for the additional information. Swelling over the fingers and ear ache may not be related to each other in any way. As the swelling over fingers, is painless and that rules out the inflammatory causes for the swelling. In this instance, I would want to exclude cardiac cause such as right heart failure as a priority. You may require a ECG test and an echocardiography. The earache may be from congestion of eustachian tube, ear infection, middle ear fluid accumulation. If the ache is severe, you can start pain killers along with steam inhalation before visiting ENT specialist for a detailed examination. Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you. If not, you may close the discussion and if possible you may rate the answer for me, so that I get a good feedback.
