Question : Our grandson is being tested for a kidney problem. Doctor says his kidney is swollen and need to run more tests. He is ten and a half months old.

At so young age cause of swollen kidney might be due to any obstruction in the urinary tract. Yes you need to get further investigations done to look for exact cause of obstruction which needs to be treated.

They must have diagnosed it on ultrasound scan. If you can send picture of ultrasound report and other reports I can guide you in better ways .
