Question: My lymph nodes have been swollen on and off for about 3 months now.
Brief Answer:
You should be investigated.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Lymphnodes will be enlarged due to may reasons, most commonly infection.
I prefer to do an FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology )of the swelling for a clue.If it is inconclusive, I remove a Lymphnode completely and send for histopathological examination (Biopsy).Exact diagnosis will be confirmed.
Please consult a General surgeon, get examined clinically and proceed accordingly.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
