default
Posted on Tue, 29 Aug 2017
Question: I had a blood transfusion on Wednesday. Yesterday my mouth area on my face started to swell. I have had this kind of swelling before from eating strange things, just allergies, clears up with time. I don't know if I should be concerned or not.

Brief Answer:
Allergic reaction

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare magic and thanks for putting up the query
Any skin reaction due to blood transfusion usually is an acute reaction and appears immediately during or after transfusion. It is probably a reaction due to something else. You should take an anti-allergic tablet and consult a doctor and get examined.
Any further questions are always welcome.
Take care
Thanks and regards
