Question : I am having a yellowish discharge and the opening of my vaginal area (vulva) is swollen this has been going on for about 3 days. I had sex only with my partner of 1 1/2 yrs. if it is a STD it means he has been with some because I haven't. How can I treat this?

Recurrent yeast infection can sometimes occur specially if you have diabetes or on immunosuppressive drugs. In that case your doctor will ask you to repeat the treatment.
