What Causes Swollen Vein On Shaft Of Penis?

Question: Hello
I have a swollen vein on my penile shaft. It's very prominent. I've been having it for last six months. It's not painful, I am sexually active and I don't feel any pressure or pain during urination. I'm still worried as I have no idea what caused this. The swollen area starts from the bottom of my penis. I am 30 year old aand never had unprotected sex.

Hello doctor
Thanks for your reply. I have it not only during erection, but also when the penis is flaccid. Is that normal? Will it ever go away or always remain like this? Is there any treatment?

Hi dear,
The vein is prominent not only during erection, but also when flaccid.the only thing is that, the prominence increases on erection.
Since this is normal, it will not go away, and no treatment is needed.
Hope you got it cleared.
