What Causes Tender Spots On Head With Stiff Neck?

Question: I have what feel like are two bruises on my head above and to the rear of each ear. I think it relates to bad computer posture for a number of years and lots of swimming over the last 3-5 years (with poor stroke technique). I also have very stiff neck symptoms, which varies in severity from day to day, and week to week. At times, symptoms can be so severe that I cannot sleep.
