Brief Answer:
Possible diagnosis: Sub acromial bursitis.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Tenderness and burning sensation is the shoulder is suggestive of possible subacromial bursitis. Subacromial bursitis is the inflammation of the bursa (fluid-filled sac) that cushions between the muscles and bones.

You can apply ice on the affected shoulder, take adequate rest, take Ibuprofen for pain relief.

Physical examination and X-ray of affected joint (to rule out other pathologies) can confirm the diagnosis.

In most cases, the pain will subside in a few weeks with NSAIDs alone. However, in some persistent cases, a steroid injection into the affected joint may be necessary.

Hope this answers your question.
