Question : I have had problems in the past with my left testical being very tender. 2 Days ago this started, was very painful and the left testical is twice the size it should be. Cold packs during the night seem to restore it to its normal size. I have done light work today and as I said it is about twice the size it should be. so what do you feel is goijng on?

possibly retracted upwards, yes there is some reddening, no abdominal pain, no fever, chills or rigors, no trauma, no wound locally, not any more exhausted than normal (I have MS)

I were to suspect torsion (of testis or testicular appendage).I were to examine as soon as possible since it might require surgical intervention in most cases if the retraction it is due to torsion.
