Question: hi my name is XXXXXXX and about 4 weeks I fell really hard on my hip and since then have terrible pain in my hip that is no better. please tell me what can be wrong.

You need to do x-rays to verify is there any sign of fractures in hips or pubic bone. However, even if there is no fracture,the pain may persist up to 2 months especially if you have osteoporosis. You should take analgesics, rest and consider physical therapy.
