What Causes Testicles To Move Up During Ejaculation?

Question: When I am masturbating or having sex, and I am close to ejaculating, my testicles will sometimes rise up (above my penis). It feels incredibly uncomfortable and I have to push them back down. If I'm having sex, it becomes sort of dangerous because of the risk of hitting them when thrusting. Is there anything I can do about this? Is this natural/normal or is this indicative of some sort of issue?

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have noticed your testicles moving high up during ejaculation .

It is natural for testicles to move slightly up during ejaculation and intercourse due to contraction of cremastic muscles .This is perhaps a natural mechanism so protect the testicles from being trapped between thighs of female partner .However if they move far up in inguinal canal you need to consult qualified General Surgeon for clinical examination and ultrasound scanning of scrotum to rule out possibility of freely XXXXXXX testicles.
