ALSO FEEL LIKE MY GLASSES ARE THE WRONG PRESCRIPTION ALL OF THE SUDDEN. IS THIS NORMAL TILL MY BODY GETS USED TO THIS DRUG?

                                    Brief Answer:
I would recommend as follows...
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
The fainting feeling could be related to low blood pressure.
Have you measured your blood pressure today? If your blood pressure is low, I would recommend reducing the dose to 25mg daily or even stop taking losartan as long as your blood pressure values are low.
Regarding the troubles with vision, they are not a known adverse effect of losartan.
So, in my opinion, if your blood pressure values are normal, I would recommend being patient and see if these symptoms subside in the next days.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Kind regards.

                                    Dr. Iliri,
Thank you for responding so quickly. I take my BP every morning and it has been running 130's/80's. This morning in was 120/89. I took it several times over a 15 minute period sitting down. So by your answer, I can split the 50mg pill in half for tomorrows dose?
I see the doctor again in 3 weeks but will call his office if I still have this feeling of unwell.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!
I would also recommend measuring your blood pressure values in standing up position after 5 minutes of standing.
If your blood pressure drops while standing up position compared to the sitting position, it could be indicative of orthostatic hypotension.
Regarding the changes in doses, I would recommend waiting a couple of days. If these complaints persist, I would recommend stopping losartan, until consulting with your doctor.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Wishing good health.
